Touch-a-Truck

(Tristan, Taylor, Addi, Brooke, Alicia, Rachel & Kathy beside a HUGE wheel of a HUGE truck)

A community church just south of us hosted a "Touch-a-Truck" event on Saturday morning. I took the kids down and we got to touch, sit in, honk the horn, etc, of all sorts of trucks, buses, and cars. We met up with Kathy and her 3 girls. The kids loved it. Addi was a little apprehensive at first because of all the loud horns honking, so she hung onto someone's hand for dear life the whole time.

Could Tristan be considering a career in truck driving???

Maybe race car driving is more up his alley....

Taylor, Addi, Brooke, and Rachel by an army medical supply jeep. The army vehicles were right up Rachel's alley since she wants to be a soldier when she grows up.

Alicia, Tristan, and Addi painting little wood cars. It was such a cute little craft they provided for the kids.

Taylor, Addi, Brooke, Rachel, Tristan, & Kathy riding the lift of a delivery truck.

Taylor, Brooke, Addi, and Rachel in a John Deere tractor. Down home country!

This truck reminds me of those prisoner of war trucks you see in the movies.

Everyone sticking their heads out the windows of the trolley.

My favorite is always the fire truck (plus they got sweet firemen hats). Tristan, Taylor, Addi, Brooke, Alicia, and Rachel.

How fun for the kids - actually I think I'd like to see inside those trucks too :).

Looks like a lot of fun. Our "Things That Go" could take some lessons from you!
