After the Touch-a-Truck, we headed north to a park for the annual VHA (Vanderbilt Housestaff Alliance...spousal/significant-other support group) Fall Festival. This is always a really fun event for the kids. They have one of those blow-up bouncers, a face painter, balloon animal making clown, great food, and a pumpkin for each child to take home. Daniel was able to meet us at this event; he was on home-call, so he had to stay a certain distance from the hospital and the touch-a-truck was too far away. We had a great time playing at the park and spending time together. We are all really looking forward to this week since Daniel is on vacation. We are so excited to spend lots of time with him.
Alicia, Addi, and Tristan sporting their balloon animals and pumpkins. Alicia was so sweet to take Addi (without being asked) with her to stand in line for the clown to make them animal balloons. Adelaide loved it and it was so sweet for Alicia to take such good care of her. Later, Adelaide dashed off to the playground, and Tristan went after her and kept an eye on her until Daniel and I were able to get down there. I have such great, thoughtful kids!!!!

Alicia always loves getting her face painted. She picked out this design...which we weren't quite sure what it was, so we decided it made her an angel.
