Capri Pants & Cowboy Boots

Alicia LOVES her cowboy boots and is a little sad about the spring weather since it means her boots will spend more time on the shelf than on her feet. This morning she tried her boots with her capri pants....she let me take a picture and then right before heading out to the bus stop, she says, "Can I go change my shoes?" She's seen me wear my boots with my jeans rolled up and with skirts, so I think she thought it would work with capri pants too. When I asked her why she wanted to change she said, "It just looks weird." I was grateful she decided this all on her own, and I didn't have to try to explain it to her!
